Embrace your weakness. Sounds counter-intuitive, right?
We want to be strong and display that strength to anyone watching. We want to show our competitiveness and drive, and we want to hide our weaknesses, right? No, we gain freedom by believing that our weaknesses are an asset. It allows us to place our faith in something greater than ourselves, whether it's God, a higher power, the process we've gone through, or something else. Acknowledging our weaknesses paradoxically empowers our strengths.
Forget the fear that comes from admitting weakness. We must not be afraid of losing or making mistakes. Forget the anger or regret that comes with it. We must be grateful for the opportunity to be right here right now. Forget the anxiety. We must refuse to ever give up. Forget the doubt. We must be aggressive. We must be relentless.
Reach down deep. Embrace your weaknesses so that you may better use every GIFT with which you've been blessed.
